Resume

This company has been downsizing every year for the last four years, and has just done so again recently, which is why I am looking for a stable position with a new company. At its peak I was Network Administrator of 16 branches in 9 states with over 500 computers and 1000 users which I managed from our corporate location. Because of the company size and non-technical requirements of our users we each have to cover many different responsibilities in our department every week. In my years of work I have learned many new systems and skills, so if my resume is missing some knowledge or skill that you are willing to teach me then I am interested in learning it.

I am currently the Senior System and Network Administrator at my place of employment and have been here for over 7 years. I am in charge of purchasing and maintaining all the computers and servers at all branches.  I work with our interstate network provider to keep everyone connected. I am familiar with Active Directory and Exchange user setup and configuration and configuring Group Policies. I purchased and set up our Blackberry Enterprise server and support all Blackberry users. I am in charge of all cell phones in the company and the PBX system for the five local branches. I also provide phone support to all users.

I have been told several times that employees prefer to work with me when they come to our department and  I have received many compliments on my attitude and skills. One example of the fun things I do is set the HP printers to display a short message each day. I try to make the day more enjoyable for the people I support, as many of them are stressed and frustrated by the time they contact us for help. If you are looking for a Network Administrator that can get the job done, and add a little fun to the workplace at the same time, I am the right man for the job.
